Choose the G-code work zero below. Lower-left is recommended for Easel and keeps the whole job in positive X/Y coordinates. Center of dish creates a true center-origin file for GRBL senders such as Candle or UGS; Easel can import it, but its preview will extend into negative X/Y. Z0 is always the top surface. All spirals run outside toward center.

For a deep bowl, Rough + Finish creates as many depth levels as needed. Level 1 clears from the outside inward; each later level starts where the previous depth ends and clears only the deeper center region. One fine finishing spiral then establishes the final spherical surface.
